In Joshua we find the Israelites circling the walls of Jericho. Circling a city they must overcome, a city with insurmountable walls. We too face our own Jerichos, problems and circumstances that seem insurmountable to us. How do we do it, how do we walk through these kind of circumstances? Join us as we look to the Lord’s word to guide us through the things in life that we in our own human strength cannot conquer.

The Compassion of Christ
Today’s study focuses on Luke 9, where Jesus sends his disciples to spread the gospel, heal, and trust wholly in God for their needs. They journeyed, facing both acceptance and rejection, and learned to rely on Jesus for strength and provision, evidenced by the miracle of feeding the masses with five loaves and two fish. In Christ, they, and we, find compassion, rest, and unshakeable joy.
Holding God’s Peace
Facing life’s numerous challenges, the biblical story in Exodus 14 illustrates how the Israelites overcame seemingly insurmountable obstacles by trusting God. Emphasizing the theme of standing firm and not succumbing to fear or haste, the passage teaches surrender to God’s will and finding peace amid adversity by trusting in His control and ultimate plan. The key takeaway is reliance on God’s strength and peace during life’s battles, as symbolized by the parting of the Red Sea.
The Kingdom of God
Scripture tells us that Jesus came to establish His kingdom here on earth. But, what does that mean? What is this kingdom, and how do we get to it, how do we live in it, and how can it change our lives?

How we relate to everything and everyone in our lives ultimately depends on how we relate to God. In Psalm 16 we see that as we are filled from God’s cup we can walk better together and be His hands and feet.
